We invited Japanese sakuga director, Iruka Umeda as a special guest to critique illustrations and give career advice to our attendees at our booth in the Annex. Furthermore, with the cooperation of both KawaiiSensei and Clip Studio Paint, we were able to give away exclusive deals and amazing rewards. With such an incredible collaboration and various opportunities, we were able to create a wonderful experience out of this event.

At the Annex, our booth was curated to appeal to both artists and anime fans: We showcased artworks by various senseis who teach at Sozoroo, displayed KawaiiSensei’s newly released book as well as Shoji Goshichi’s illustration book, physical layouts of KawaiiSensei’s worksheets that can be acquired from our giveaways, and a booklet featuring samples of our student’s before & after artwork critiqued by professionals.
Sozoroo had the wonderful opportunity to host an illustration critique event at Anime Expo 2023, which took place July 1-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. We invited Japanese illustrator and animator Umeda Iruka to critique illustrations and give career advice to attendees at our booth in the Annex. We collaborated with Clip Studio Paint by giving away Clip Studio Paint Debut and Pro by participating in our campaign. Popular illustration creator, KawaiiSensei also collaborated by distributing their digital brushes and drawing worksheets. We had an amazing amount of visitors at our booth during these 4 days.
